Merry Christmas

December 5, 2010 - Christopher
Another year another Breakfast with Santa at St Helen's at 9:15. However, since we were all a year older we were better prepared for our visit and were not going to cry. In fact we were so prepared not to cry we forgot to tell Santa what we wanted for Christmas
Later in the afternoon I hope Santa was still busy at St Helen's, Luke tossed a book at Daniel who wound up with a bloody nose and lump on his head
If that was not bad enough I did a poop in the tub. But since it is covered by the bubbles, Mommy and Daddy did not know it, That is until Luke turns me in
And finally we help Daddy and Mommy decorate our Christmas tree

Christmas Day and we were up early to see if Santa had really come to our house.  There was " Moon Dough" and 3 big stuffed animals and a lot of other toys - however no bikes which we really wanted.
After opening a few more gifts we went to church and when we came back MeeMa and Pop-E were outside and Pop-E said that Santa had come back because he found something in his sled that he was supposed to drop off at our house. In we rushed to see what it was and guess what  -  it was BIKES and HELMETS - way to go SANTA
And guess what  Jake got the same bike as me
Well It was a very busy 2 days and thanks Santa for bringing me a big stuffed animal to cozy up with

Pop-E had me for a date today and we went to Pop-E's Library, then to McDonald's and then to Pop-E's house to watch the movie "ROBOTS". I showed Pop-E how I can put the DVD into the DVD player
December 12, 2010 - Luke
Well the decision is in - I have the "Murphy Eye Genes" and am now wearing a patch on one eye, every day for 4 hours a day - just like Daddy did
December 7, 2010 - Luke
Well, it looks like I inherited some of Daddy and Pop-E's genes. I am going to see an ophthalmologist to see what to do about the "turn" in one of my eyes
December 20, 2010 - Daniel
Well here I go again. I fell down the steps at the park and Mommy did not like the looks of it . Another visit to the Emergency Room - there will be naming a "WING" after me.
December 29, 2010 - Jake
Heading down to NJ for the cousins 4th birthday. As we hit Connecticut I decided I was hungry for a good Wendy's treat. Mommy and Daddy said McDonalds sounded good to them since there are thousands in Connecticut, but I insisted on Wendy's since there are only about 25 in Connecticut
Daddy called Pop-E to "google" Wendy's on the internet and he found one in Wallingford which just happened to be the next exit on the Merritt Parkway. I think Daddy needs to get an IPHONE for emergency like this
While we were driving down, Christopher and Luke (told me later) that hey were playing with their Leapfrog Computer that their MeeMe told Santa to brig them.
Once we to MeeMe and Pop-E's house it was time for more opening Christmas presents. I got a Dinosaur set because I love Dinosaurs and Luke that a Pirate set, because loves Pirates. We also all get clothes and puppets
December 30, 2010 - Luke
Well my Bros birthday - 4th years old. Daniel an I are back at MeeMa and Pop-E's because Christopher had to go to the doctors. Christopher, Mommy and Daddy came home about 12 and Mommy and Aunt Jess went to target
The rest of us were all just hanging, watching PLOAR EXPRESS when the door bell rang and Me-Ma and Pop-E neighbor was at the door asking for help. Pop-E called the police and then the rescue squad came because she said her hurt her back. Once I heard police were upstairs, I headed up the stairs to check out the guns
They were taking her to the hospital and when the ambulance pulled out of the driveway we headed home because Mommy had to bake a cake because the relatives were coming over for our birthday celebration.
The funny think was we were standing at the door and Daniel said "what is the Rescue Squad doing in the driveway" - nothing like "watching" the world go by on your 4th birthday
Later everyone cam over to our house with more presents - birthday this time and then cake. As usually - white for Christopher and Chocolate for Daniel.
December 22, 2010 - Luke
Any hard day for Mommy. I was favoring my left hand and crying so she thought it might be broken. Mommy, took me to the Medi Merge ( getting to be our home away from  home). It was just a sprain and I am handling it like a trooper. It probably happened Monday, but it really started bartering me today

Another Tradition down the tubes. Pop-E has had a tradition that starting Thanksgiving, the family starts listening to the Alabama Christmas Album- Volume 1, especially the song "Thistlehair". In fact, Daddy starting playing it for me and it is now my favorite song
Well, even though Pop-E gave Daddy, Uncle Scott and Uncle Greg copies of the CD, Uncle Brian either seemed to have lost the CD or completely forgotten the tradition
Uncle Brian, said  "Nice (when he heard it was now my favorite Christmas song).  I haven’t listened to that once this season.  Terrible.  Breaking tradition"
Daddy response was "Ah, ya know Brian… it should go on Thanksgiving". Sounds like Daddy was imitating Pop-E

Alabama, Thistlehair the Christmas Bear Lyrics

The city's full of manger scenes    Chorus:
And stores lit up in red and green.Oh, Thistlehair the Christmas bear
But down the road just out of town     Spreadin' the good news everywhere.
There's more magic to be found.  About Christmas time and what it means
The countryside is all a-glow To all the children of the world.
With holly trees and mistletoe.      Every little boy and girl
And in them woods there lives a bearOut there, love Thistlehair (not Thistlehear)
Known to all as Thistlehair. (not Thistlehear)

He comes around this time of year       Chorus:
Spreading lots of Christmas cheer.      Oh, Thistlehair the Christmas bear
The kids all love this shiny coat     Spreadin' the good news everywhere.
And the smell of honey on his nose.    About Christmas time and what it means
He tells them all about that star     To all the children of the world.
And everything that it stands for.  Every little boy and girl
The birthday we all celebrate  Out there, love Thistlehair (not Thistlehear)
Is still our favorite holiday

Wherever you find old Thistlebear        Chorus:
There'll be music in the air.       Oh, Thistlehair the Christmas bear
He dances 'round the Christmas tree          Spreadin' the good news everywhere.
Every single New Year's eve.          About Christmas time and what it means
Then he and all his furry friends           To all the children of the world.
GatherA 'Round the fire again         Every little boy and girl
Singin' 'Bout those Angels' wings        Out there, love Thistlehair (not Thistlehear)
Gifts of love that Christmas brings.

Thistlehair the Christmas bear      Chorus:
Spreadin' the good news everywhere.                      Oh, Thistlehair the Christmas bear
About Christmas time and what it means                 Spreadin' the good news everywhere.
To all the children of the world.                                   About Christmas time and what it means
Thistlehair the Christmas bear                                    To all the children of the world.
Spreadin' the good news everywhere.                      Every little boy and girl
About Christmas time and what it means                 Out there, love Thistlehair (not Thistlehear)
To all the children of the world.
Thistlehair the Christmas bear
Spreadin' the good news everywhere...

MeeMa and Pop-E brought a new tree for the front yard and he took a picture of me and the tree to see which one grows faster
Then we were off to McDonald's but I must had got tired posing for the pictures that I fell asleep before we got the to McDonald's. So Pop-E had to drive around until I woke up. Do I look like I am awake
December 18, 2010 - Luke
Pop-E has MeeMa's father's Knights of Columbus sword in the basement. Every once in a while I will remember it and ask Pop-E if I can see it. This time Christopher heard me ask and went into the basement as well.  Sometimes I think I was born in the wrong time since I am a sword lover and I would have been great at the ROUND TABLE. Also I think Mommy and Daddy named me after Luke Skywalker -  the famous JEDI with the LightSaber

This year we are going to Maria and Rob's for Christmas Eve celebration. On the way we stopped at McDonald's for lunch and a horse ride - check the PJs were are still wearing. When we got to Maria's Mommy dressed us in our Christmas attire. and at the end of the day we were back in other PJs.
Cousin Angela was there and had her new puppy (Lily) and we all played with her. We also took a group picture with the "young" cousins
And finally in the last pictures there are 2 people who are also twins - which 2 are the twins!
December 28, 2010 - Luke
Here we are at another party, but this one had no horses. This is where Christopher and Daniel may have there 4th birthday party for their friends
December 27, 2010 - Daniel
The Snows Cometh, Cometh, Cometh - Here is a picture of MeeMa and Pop-E's deck and MeeMa having to shovel snow to get the paper for Pop-E
Then we head out to see how deep the snow really was - it was deep. So deep that Daddy did not go to work and we were allowed to playing the street because no cars could get down our block. After playing out sire for a while it was back in to get warm in our PJs
December 31, 2010 - Christopher
Back to MeeMa and Pop-E's for the end of the year pictures. Aunt Maureen and Uncle Charlie came over on their way to Philadelphia, and of course they had presents for us.

After opening the presents it was time for some group pictures with the parents and grandparents. Pop-E wanted a pictures of the 4 Grandsons and I guess you can tell by the pictures that we were not staying still for them

Any way, another year has gone by and we wish everyone a
Very Happy 2011 New Year

ps: Luke heard a New Year party and thought  it was for him - NICE HAT!
